Eyeglass cases collect dust, lint and grit over time — and every time you put your glasses away, that debris transfers to the lens. Cleaning the case regularly is a small habit that extends coating life. Here's how.

For hard cases (metal or plastic shell)

  1. Empty the case and shake out loose debris.
  2. Wipe the interior with a damp microfiber cloth and a drop of mild soap.
  3. Rinse the cloth and wipe again to remove soap residue.
  4. Air-dry fully open before returning your glasses.

For soft / microfiber pouches

  1. Turn the pouch inside out.
  2. Hand-wash in warm water with mild detergent — no fabric softener.
  3. Rinse thoroughly and air dry.
  4. Turn right-side out once completely dry.

For leather or PU cases

  1. Wipe with a damp cloth and a small amount of leather cleaner.
  2. Condition with leather conditioner every few months.
  3. Avoid soaking — water stains PU and damages leather edges.
Tip: Clean your case every 2–4 weeks, or whenever you notice dust inside. A clean case + a clean cloth = clear lenses that last.
